National Testing Agency (NTA) has invited applications for the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2024 for admission to Postgraduate AYUSH Courses (for the academic session 2024-25. 

Based on the result of AIAPGET, admissions will be made to Postgraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy. 

AIAPGET 2024 will be a single entrance examination for admission to Postgraduate AYUSH Courses for 2024-25 and will include the following: All India and State quota seats for admission to MD/ MS Courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homoeopathy system of medicine for all AYUSH Colleges, Institutions & Universities/ Deemed Universities across the country. AACCC, will conduct counselling for admission to All India quota seats in Government, Government Aided, National Institutions, Central and Deemed to be Universities (Established under Central Act). Designated State / Union Territories (UT’s) Counselling Authority(s) will conduct counselling for admission to State/UT quota seats based on candidate’s AIAPGET 2024 merit, choice of subject and fulfilment of their eligibility criteria, guidelines, domicile criteria, applicable reservation policies etc.

Eligibility: Applicant should hold recognized BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree or Provisional or Pass BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS Pass Certificate and possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of BAMS/ BUMS/BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree qualification issued by the erstwhile CCIM /erstwhile CCH/NCISM/NCH/State/UT Board and completed one year of internship or/are likely to complete the internship as per the NCISM/NCH notification.

Examination structure: AIAPGET will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) of 120 minutes’ duration and will be conducted on 06 July 2024. Timing of Examination will be intimated later on the website. Language of the Paper will be as follows: Ayurveda- English & Hindi, Homoeopathy -English Only, Siddha -English & Tamil, Unani -English & Urdu. The test will have 120 Multiple Choice Questions with a single correct response. For each correct response, 4 marks will be awarded. For each incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted. 

Syllabus: The syllabus for the exam shall comprise of subjects/knowledge areas as per the Graduate Level Education Regulations of respective discipline issued by NCISM/NCH. Applicants may refer to the NCISM/NCH website for complete syllabus document

Application: Applications can be submitted online at https://exams.nta.ac.in/AIAPGET/ latest by 11.50 pm on 15 May 2024.

Fee Payable for AIAPGET-2024 is as follows: General (UR) – Rs. 2700/; Gen-EWS/OBC-(NCL): Rs. 2450/-; SC/ST/PwD/Transgender- Rs. 1800/-. Amount can be paid through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI up to 11.50 pm on 16 May 2024.

Correction in Particulars of Application Form can be done through the website during 17 May 2024 to 11.50 pm on 19 May 2024. Candidates should undertake the correction(s) carefully as no further chance of correction will be provided. Advance Intimation on examination city will be published on 20 June 2024. Admit Cards can be downloaded from the NTA website from 02 July 2024.
