AIIMS Raipur has invited online applications for the 2025 Post Doctoral Certificate Courses across multiple disciplines

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur, an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, has invited online applications for the entrance examination for admission to the one-year Post Doctoral Certificate Courses (PDCC) 2025 session.
Departments and PDCC Courses
(a) Anaesthesiology- Cardiac Anaesthesia, Critical Care, Neurosurgical Anaesthesia, Obstetric Anaesthesia, Pain and Palliative Care, Paediatric Anaesthesia, Onco-Anaesthesia
(b) General Surgery- Breast Surgery
(c) Microbiology- Hospital Infection Control
(d) Obstetrics and Gynaecology- High-Risk Pregnancy, Gynaecological Endoscopy, Gynae Oncology
(e) Paediatrics – Neonatology, Paediatric Cardiac Critical Care, Paediatric Haematology & Oncology
(f) Ophthalmology- Medical Retina
(g) Radiodiagnosis- Cardiothoracic and Vascular Imaging & Interventional Radiology
(h) Emergency Medicine- Emergency Cardiac Care, Emergency Medicine- Critical Care
(i) Clinical Hematology- Clinical Hematology.
There are 51 seats in all, of which 40 are non-sponsored and 11 are sponsored seats. Details of the total seats under each program and the number of non-sponsored and sponsored seats are given in the notification at https://www.aiimsraipur.edu.in/ (Courses > Admission to PDCC).
Eligibility: Depending upon the Post Doctoral Certificate Course, the applicant must have an MD/MS/DNB (as applicable) recognised by the Medical Council of India/NMC in the specified specialisation.
Sponsored seats: Permanent employees of any Central/State Government/Armed Forces or Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous body can be sponsored by the respective Government/Defence Authorities or the Competent Authorities of PSU/Autonomous body. A state government can sponsor candidates only for those fellowship programs that are not available in the state. A certificate regarding non-availability of the Fellowship (for which the candidate is being sponsored) in the concerned state, duly signed by the Competent Authority, should be furnished in the format prescribed for this purpose. The subject for which the candidate is being sponsored should be clearly specified in the sponsorship form by the sponsoring authority. One can be sponsored for only one subject.
Non-sponsored seats: Applicant must have completed the requisite qualification, degree, and tenure by 30.09.2025.
Upper age limit is 45 years as of 31st July 2025. Details of relaxation in the upper age limit for OBC/SC/ST/persons with benchmark disabilities/ex-servicemen and commissioned officers are given in the notification.
Application: Applications can be submitted online at the link given in the Notification, latest by 05.09.2025. Application fee is Rs. 2500/- (Rs. 2200/- for SC/ST/EWS Category) to be paid online. One may submit application for maximum of 2 courses with separate application forms and application fees for each.
Entrance Examination (Written Exam, Pen Paper-Based) will be held at AIIMS, Raipur from 11 am to 1 pm on 24.09.2025 (Wednesday). It will have 100 MCQs, each carrying one mark, and a maximum of 100 marks. There is no negative marking. Those applying for two courses must appear for both the examinations in continuation. Additional time will be provided for the second paper. The Admit Card will be sent to the email of the candidate as provided in the application form. Admit cards will be issued from 12.09.2025.
The candidate must secure a 50 percentile mark to be eligible for admission. Merit list will be prepared as per the percentile score.
