This brings Tesla's total charging locations in India to three, with 12 Superchargers and 10 Destination Chargers.

Gurugram: Tesla has inaugurated its first Supercharger station in Gurugram, marking another step in the electric vehicle maker's effort to build charging infrastructure across India. The facility, which opened on December 17 at DLF Horizon Centre on Golf Course Road, features four V4 Superchargers and three Destination Chargers.
The new station delivers peak charging speeds of up to 250 kilowatts through its V4 Superchargers, while the Destination Chargers offer 11 kilowatts for slower charging during extended stays. According to Tesla, a Model Y can add up to 275 kilometres of range in 15 minutes at the Superchargers.
Expanding Network Across India
With the Gurugram launch, Tesla now operates three charging locations in India with a total of 12 Superchargers and 10 Destination Chargers. The other sites are located at Worldmark 3 in Delhi and One BKC in Mumbai. Each location features four V4 Superchargers.
The charging experience integrates with the Tesla app, allowing users to navigate to stations, check availability, monitor charging progress, and make payments. Tesla claims a network uptime of 99.95 per cent.
Interactive Workshops for Customers
To familiarise customers with the technology, Tesla is hosting interactive workshops at the Gurugram station from December 17 to 21. The sessions will demonstrate Supercharger and Destination Charger operation while offering insights into electric mobility.
The infrastructure expansion accompanies Tesla's Model Y availability in India, where the electric SUV is offered in two rear-wheel drive configurations starting at Rs 59.89 lakh. The base version provides a claimed range of 500 kilometres, while the Long Range variant offers 622 kilometres.
