Renault launches Kwid 10th Anniversary Edition in India, priced from ₹5.14 lakh, limited to 500 units

Renault India, the fully owned arm of the French carmaker Renault Group, is celebrating a decade of its popular hatchback in the country with the launch of the Renault Kwid 10th Anniversary Edition. Only 500 units of this special version will be available, making it a true Renault Kwid Limited Edition designed to boost its collectability.
The celebratory model is priced at ₹5.14 lakh for the manual version and ₹5.63 lakh for the AMT option (ex-showroom, pan-India). It is offered exclusively on the Techno variant and comes with distinctive design touches that set it apart from the standard models in the Renault cars portfolio.

The Renault Kwid 10th Anniversary Edition is available in two striking dual-tone paint schemes – Fiery Red with a contrasting Black Roof and a new Shadow Grey with Black Roof. Enhancements include glossy black Flex Wheels, unique anniversary decals placed on the doors and C-pillar, and a yellow grille insert for a sportier presence.

Inside, the hatchback gets celebratory updates, including anniversary-themed seat upholstery with yellow highlights, a leatherette steering wheel with contrast stitching, illuminated scuff plates, and puddle lamps for a more premium feel.

Alongside the anniversary model, Renault has refreshed the entire Renault Kwid India range. The new line-up has been renamed with variants now called Evolution (previously RXL), Techno (previously RXT), and Climber, which continues as the flagship.
Safety has also been improved across all trims, with three-point seatbelts for every passenger. The Climber variant now comes equipped with six airbags, strengthening its appeal among budget-conscious buyers looking for safer Renault cars.

The Renault Kwid continues to be powered by a 1.0-litre SCe petrol engine that produces 69bhp and 92.5Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual gearbox and Renault’s Easy-R AMT transmission. With an SUV-inspired stance, 184mm ground clearance, and efficient fuel performance, the Kwid remains one of the most versatile hatchbacks in its segment.
