Renowned South Indian actress Abhinaya, who was recently seen in the hit movie Pani—the directorial debut of Joju George—continues to captivate audiences with her powerful performances. Despite facing challenges with her voice and hearing ability, Abhinaya has established herself as a versatile actress across multiple South Indian film industries, earning acclaim for her roles.

Her passion for acting goes beyond the typical demands of cinema, and this dedication has earned her praise from both critics and fans alike. In an interview with Silly Monks Mollywood, Abhinaya shared her experience of portraying the wife of 'Bodhidharma', a character played by South Indian superstar Suriya, in the 2011 blockbuster 7aum Arivu (also known as Seventh Sense), directed by A. R. Murugadoss. The film was a huge success, and Abhinaya’s role was widely lauded.

Reflecting on her time working on 7aum Arivu, Abhinaya expressed her gratitude, saying, "It was a great honor to be part of 7th Sense. The atmosphere on set was always very positive, and everyone approached their work with enthusiasm and respect." She also spoke highly of her co-star Suriya, noting, "Suriya’s performance was exceptional, and he always made sure to support us. Even though my role was small, being part of that project brought me immense joy." Abhinaya emphasised that, for her, what matters most is whether the audience remembers the character, not the size of the role.

In her latest release, Pani, Abhinaya plays Gowry, the wife of Giri (played by Joju George), a dancer. Her convincing performance in the film adds depth to the movie, which also features Bigg Boss stars Sagar and Junais, singer Abhaya Hiranmayi, as well as several newcomers and junior artists.

Abhinaya's journey in the film industry serves as an inspiration to many, demonstrating that with passion and perseverance, one can overcome any obstacle—be it personal or professional. Her continued success is a testament to her talent and determination, and she remains one of South India's most respected actors. (With inputs from Agencies)
