Little brother Dulquer’s movie is doing great; everyone should go watch it: Suriya

Actor Suriya, during his visit to Kochi for the promotion of his upcoming film Kanguva, praised Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan's latest film Lucky Bhaskar and hailed Malayalam cinema as a benchmark for Indian cinema.
“I’ve heard that my Chinnathambi (little brother) Dulquer’s film Lucky Bhaskar is doing exceptionally well. Those who haven’t watched it yet should definitely go see it,” said Suriya, speaking on stage.
Suriya also said that Malayalam cinema is a role model for filmmakers across India. "I always get a lot of love here. I wish and hope I can do or direct a Malayalam film also. I wish someday it will happen," he said.
Kanguva promotion
Suriya’s highly anticipated film Kanguva is set to release on November 14. The actor arrived in Kochi on Tuesday and took part in a promotional event at Lulu Mall in the evening. His arrival at Nedumbassery airport earlier in the day was met with an enthusiastic crowd of fans, eager to catch a glimpse of their favorite star. Social media was buzzing with videos of Suriya walking through the airport surrounded by cheering fans.
The film Kanguva, produced by K E Gnanavel Raja (Studio Green) and Vamshi Pramod (UV Creations), stars Bollywood actor Bobby Deol as the villain and Disha Patani in the female lead role. The movie also features a talented ensemble cast, including Yogi Babu, Prakash Raj, K. S. Ravikumar, Jagapathi Babu, and others.
Directed by Siva, Kanguva is set in a historical backdrop, taking place 1,500 years ago. Written by Madhan Karky and Adi Narayana, the film promises a blend of action, drama, and historical intrigue, making it one of the most anticipated releases of the year.
