Tamil actor Ajith Kumar is currently in Abu Dhabi at the Yas Marina Circuit for the Asian Le Mans Series as part of the Yas Speed Festival. During the event, actor Sivakarthikeyan paid him a visit and later shared pictures from the meeting on Instagram.
Sharing the images, Sivakarthikeyan wrote, “Pure passion, commitment, dedication and resilience - experienced it live, felt the adrenaline rush. An inspiring day spent with an inspiring person. Always look up to you, my dear #AK sir.”
The photographs showed the two actors in conversation at the racing venue, sharing a light moment in front of a car, and posing together.
Ajith is set to participate in the 4 Hours of Abu Dhabi endurance race, which is part of the Asian Le Mans Series 2026. The actor has been actively pursuing his interest in motorsports and had taken a break from acting to focus on racing.
Last year, Ajith officially formed his own racing team and competed in several endurance events. His team secured third place in the 2025 AM Class European Endurance Championship. He has also explored Formula racing and recently met racers Narain Karthikeyan and Aditya Patel.
Ajith previously stated that he plans to sign film projects only during the off-racing season. He was last seen in Magizh Thirumeni’s Vidaamuyarchi and Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly. Fans are awaiting an announcement regarding his next project, which is expected later this year.
Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan was recently seen in Parasakthi, a historical political drama directed by Sudha Kongara. Set in 1960s Madras, the film follows two brothers involved in the anti-Hindi imposition agitation in Tamil Nadu. The film was produced by Aakash Bhaskaran and distributed by Red Giant Movies.
