Ernakulam: A holy basil plant (Tulsi) that has grown to an extraordinary height is likely to attain Guinness record. The plant is growing in the house of Ezhikkara native Anilkumar. At present, the holy basil plant has a height of 340 centimetres.
The tallest basil plant currently holding the world record is in Greece and is nurtured by a person named Anastasia Grigoraki. The plant has a height of 334 centimetres.
Anilkumar's holy basil plant is only four years old. A catering worker, Anilkumar is trying to inform the Guinness authorities about the extraordinarily tall holy basil plant in his house.
