Kannur: A 73-year-old died man after being stung by bees in the Machoormala area of Puralimala near Maloor here on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Mammad. 

The bee attack happened while Mammad along with his wife and children were collecting cashew nuts from the ground.

The body will be taken for autopsy, and burial is scheduled for Monday.
