Fans of Malayalam cinema are eagerly awaiting the reunion of superstars Mohanlal and Mammootty in a new film directed by Mahesh Narayanan. The highly anticipated project is set to begin shooting in December, though official confirmation is still pending.
In a surprising twist, actor Kunchacko Boban has hinted that he will also be part of this much-anticipated movie. Speaking in an interview with a YouTube channel, Boban shared that discussions are ongoing, and he is excited about the scope of the project. "It is not finalized yet. There will be changes. I hope an announcement will be made soon," he said. He also described the film as "very exciting" and "unique." He also revealed that the movie is "unlike anything Malayalam cinema has ever seen."
Interestingly, Kunchacko Boban was also part of the 1998 film Harikrishnans, which featured both Mohanlal and Mammootty in pivotal roles.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Narayanan's film marks the first collaboration between Mohanlal and Mammootty in 16 years. According to reports, the movie shooting is set to begin in December.
The last time the star duo appeared together as co-leads was in the 2008 blockbuster Twenty:20. Although Mohanlal made a cameo in Mammootty's Kadal Kadannu Oru Maathukutty eleven years ago, their reunion in this new film has fans buzzing with excitement over the prospect of seeing their dynamic chemistry on screen once again.
