Producer Antony Perumbavoor has ignited speculation about a possible collaboration between Malayalam superstars Mammootty and Mohanlal with a recent social media post. Sharing pictures with the two actors, Antony also mentioned his production house, Aashirvad Cinemas, along with Mammootty's production company, accompanied by a 'handshake' emoji. This subtle hint has led fans to speculate about the long-awaited reunion of the legendary duo.

Antony's post quickly went viral, prompting widespread discussion among fans about the possibility of Mammootty and Mohanlal appearing together in a new film. Aashirvad Cinemas, which has produced 30 films featuring Mohanlal, is known for its blockbuster ventures, adding fuel to the rumors.

The two actors have previously worked together in over 50 films throughout their illustrious careers. If the speculated project materializes, it will mark their on-screen reunion after a decade. The last time they shared screen space was in the film 'Kadal Kadannu Oru Maathukutty'.

While Mammootty recently starred in Vysakh's 'Turbo', Mohanlal is set to make his directorial debut with 'Barroz'. Although the actors collaborated on the anthology 'Manorathangal' by MT Vasudevan Nair, they appeared in separate segments and did not share scenes.

Mammootty's upcoming project is 'Bazooka', while Mohanlal has an impressive lineup that includes 'Barroz', 'L2: Empuraan', 'Ram', and 'Vrushabha'. Fans are eagerly awaiting official confirmation of their next collaboration.
