Visitors reaching Chimmini dam and Wildlife Sanctuary in Thrissur will now be able to enjoy a coracle ride in the dam reservoir.

The facility has been launched by the tribal eco development committee here.

Five coracles have been launched. 4 persons can board a coracle and ride or 20 minutes in the lake. The ride costs Rs 400 and will start at 8 am to 5 pm. The ride will enable the tourists to get a closer look at the wildlife in the forest surrounding the lake.
