Los Angeles: In an unprecedented move, NBA 2K26 is bringing NBA and WNBA players together for the first time in the MyTEAM game mode, allowing fans to create mixed-gender dream teams. This exciting update is available on both Generation 8 and Generation 9 platforms, marking a new era for basketball gaming.

Players can now draft legends like Lisa Leslie and current WNBA stars such as Caitlin Clark alongside NBA icons, including Nikola Jokić and Stephen Curry. All players, regardless of league, have balanced attributes and badges, ensuring competitive and fair gameplay.

The update also introduces a WNBA Domination tier, a mode where gamers can challenge teams made exclusively of WNBA players and earn unique rewards. Additionally, full WNBA uniforms, courts with NBA three-point lines, and enhanced broadcast commentary featuring voices like Kevin Harlan and Stan Van Gundy enrich the gaming experience.

New gameplay features include Game Changer cards—special consumables offering bonus points, win streak recovery, or automatic victories in select modes. The popular “King of the Court” tournament returns, now with a weekly $10,000 prize pool. The All-Star Team-Up mode makes a comeback, letting friends team up in 5v5 matches with combined NBA and WNBA rosters.

Beyond these, NBA 2K26 MyTEAM introduces greater customisation options, single-player salary caps, coach development, and improved arena and presentation upgrades.

The highly anticipated NBA 2K26 launches globally on September 5, 2025, with early access starting August 29 for pre-orders. By uniting NBA and WNBA stars on one platform, NBA 2K26 is set to redefine fantasy basketball and offer fans an unprecedented gaming experience.
