New Delhi: POCO on Tuesday commenced the first sale of its latest budget 5G smartphone, the POCO C85 5G, exclusively on Flipkart, positioning it as a battery-focused device at a disruptive price point.

Designed to deliver what POCO calls the “best battery experience” in its segment, the POCO C85 5G houses a massive 6000mAh battery, capable of lasting over two days on a single charge. The device supports 33W fast charging, offering up to 50 per cent charge in around 28 minutes, along with 10W wired reverse charging, allowing users to power accessories such as TWS earbuds, smartwatches and other smartphones.

Priced under Rs 12,000, the smartphone features a sleek quad-curved back, a slim 7.99mm profile and a premium dual-tone finish. It is available in Mystic Purple, Spring Green and Power Black colour options.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, the POCO C85 5G promises smooth performance for everyday multitasking, gaming and streaming, with an AnTuTu score of over 450,000. On the photography front, it comes with a 50MP AI dual-camera setup for detailed images.

The smartphone sports the segment’s largest 6.9-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, aimed at delivering smoother scrolling, gaming and content consumption.

Running HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15 out of the box, the POCO C85 5G also offers one of the strongest software promises in the segment, with two Android OS upgrades and four years of security updates.

The POCO C85 5G is priced at Rs 10,999 for the 4GB+128GB variant, Rs 11,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant, and Rs 13,499 for the 8GB+128GB variant.

As part of the first-day launch offers, buyers can avail an instant discount of Rs 1,000 using select HDFC, ICICI or SBI credit and debit cards, or opt for an exchange bonus of up to Rs 1,000. A three-month no-cost EMI option is also available for eligible customers.
