OPPO is set to launch its F35 Series smartphones in India on October 5, marking a decade of the company's F Series portfolio in the country.

The upcoming series will build on the brand's imaging-focused legacy, with a renewed emphasis on group selfies and shared photography experiences.

OPPO said the F35 Series will feature a 50MP Ultra-Wide Natural Selfie Camera with a 100-degree field of view. The company has also announced NaturalTone 2.0 for more natural-looking skin tones and front and rear 4K video recording on the Pro model.

The launch comes as the F Series completes 10 years in India. OPPO introduced the lineup in the country with the F1, which it marketed as the world's first 16MP Selfie Expert smartphone.

Over the years, the series has expanded its focus beyond selfies to include imaging, design, performance and durability. According to OPPO, the F Series has built a user base of more than 30 million people.

The F3 introduced a dual front-camera system, while the F5 brought built-in beautification technology. The F7 followed with a 25MP AI-powered selfie camera.

The lineup subsequently added features such as a triple-colour gradient design on the F11, 67W SUPERVOOC charging and a 5,000mAh battery on the F23, and 4K Ultra-Clear Video on the F25.

OPPO also highlighted durability as a key area of development, citing the F27's IP69 rating and the F29's durability testing in India. The F33 introduced a 50MP Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera, according to the company.

With the F35 Series, OPPO is positioning the next generation as the Group Selfie Expert, shifting the focus from individual selfies to capturing more people in a single frame.

The series is scheduled to launch in India on October 5, 2026.
