London-based smartphone maker Nothing on Wednesday unveiled its latest smartphone, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite, marking another stylish entry into its growing product line-up. The device blends the brand’s signature minimalist design with modern software refinements, running on Nothing OS 3.5 powered by Android 15. While the phone maintains a sleek glass finish, one of its most intriguing changes is the reimagined Glyph Light, replacing the full Glyph Interface with a simpler corner LED that still handles calls and notifications.

The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite is available in white and black colour options. The base model, equipped with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, is priced at EUR 249 (approximately ₹25,600), while the higher-end variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs EUR 279 (approximately ₹28,700). As per reports, Indian pricing will be even more competitive, likely under ₹20,000, though the exact launch date in India is yet to be confirmed.

The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite houses a triple-camera setup on the rear. The 50MP main sensor features a 24mm focal length and a f/1.88 aperture with Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS) for stable and clear shots. The front camera includes a 16MP sensor with a 24mm focal length and f/2.45 aperture, delivering balanced selfies and smooth video calls. The camera system is powered by TrueLens Engine 4, offering enhanced colour accuracy and features such as Ultra XDR, Auto Tone, Portrait Optimiser, Motion Photo, Night Mode, and Macro Mode.

With a peak brightness of 3000 nits, it promises vivid visibility even in direct sunlight, while the typical brightness sits at 800 nits, and outdoor brightness reaches 1300 nits, making it one of the brightest panels in its category.

In terms of design, the smartphone continues Nothing’s signature aesthetic with a glass build and clean lines. It comes with an IP54 certification, ensuring resistance to dust and light water splashes. Measuring 164mm in height, 78mm in width, and 8.3mm in thickness, and weighing 199g, the device maintains a balanced profile for comfortable handling.
The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite includes an in-screen optical fingerprint sensor, and packs a range of sensors such as an accelerometer, electronic compass, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor, along with an X-axis linear vibrator for precise haptic feedback.
The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite carries the brand’s design DNA forward with a simplified yet distinctive approach. Although the absence of the full Glyph Interface might disappoint long-time fans, its affordability, performance, and sleek aesthetics make it a promising addition to the Nothing lineup.
