Moto G96 5G launched in India with Sony Lytia camera, 5500mAh battery and curved display

Motorola has launched the Moto G96 5G in India, targeting consumers looking for an immersive multimedia and performance-focused smartphone experience. The handset features a sleek, premium design and comes in vibrant Pantone-certified colours, offering a blend of style and powerful specifications.

The Moto G96 5G features a 6.67-inch 3D curved pOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 395ppi. The screen supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 300Hz, ensuring fluid responsiveness. With peak brightness reaching 1600 nits and a high brightness mode of 1200 nits, the display remains clear even in bright conditions. Motorola has equipped the screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, SGS Low Blue Light, and SGS Low Motion Blur certifications. The active area-to-touch panel ratio stands at an impressive 92.77 percent, with a cinematic 20:9 aspect ratio.

Powering the Moto G96 5G is the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 Mobile Platform, featuring an octa-core CPU comprising four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores at 1.95GHz. Motorola has priced the Moto G96 5G at ₹17,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and ₹19,999 for the 8GB + 256GB version. The phone will go on sale from July 16 via Flipkart, Motorola’s official website, and leading retail stores across India.

The Moto G96 comes with a vegan leather finish and carries an IP68 rating for water resistance. The phone measures 161.86 x 73.26 x 7.93mm and weighs just 178 grams, combining durability with elegance. It is available in four Pantone colour options: Greener Pastures, Cattleya Orchid, Ashleigh Blue, and Dresden Blue.
