Instagram has rolled out a new update, allowing users to enhance their reels with multiple audio tracks. This new feature lets reels creators add up to 20 songs to their videos, offering more creative options for sharing content. Users can save these audio mixes for future reels as well.
Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram, announced this update yesterday, July 18. “Starting today you can add up to 20 audio tracks to a single reel, giving you more creative freedom with your content. You can align your audio with text, stickers and clips while editing it within Instagram. When you do this, you’ll also create your own unique audio mix that fans can save and reuse. Give a try and let me know what you think,” he wrote on Instagram.
Users can now seamlessly integrate texts, stickers, and video clips alongside their chosen songs directly within the Instagram app. This update makes it easier for creators to edit and customise their reels with a blend of different sounds and music tracks.
Initially launched in India, where Instagram enjoys widespread popularity, this feature caters to a large user base accustomed to engaging with multimedia content. Despite the complexities of mobile video editing, Instagram has simplified the process with an intuitive interface, making it accessible for all users to explore and enjoy.
