Techland and Krafton have launched a Halloween-themed crossover event merging Dying Light: The Beast and PUBG Mobile. The limited-time collaboration, running from October 31 to November 21, 2025, brings PUBG’s battle royale elements into the horror-infused world of Dying Light: The Beast, introducing exclusive quests, rewards, and cosmetic items.

The highlight of the event is the “Skillet” quest, inspired by PUBG’s iconic frying pan weapon. Players who sign up for the event through the official Dying Light website and activate the quest will receive the Airdrop Finder car skin immediately. Completing the “Power Gambit” story mission unlocks access to the crossover content, allowing players to earn themed weapons such as the Killing Pan, Battle Royale Bat, and Battleground Keychain—each offering gameplay advantages like increased headshot damage, bonus XP, and improved melee performance.

Players who complete the event will also unlock the Marked Man outfit for protagonist Kyle Krane, which enhances combat efficiency and experience gain. While most rewards will remain usable after the event concludes, Techland has confirmed that the PUBG-themed weapon skins will be removed on January 15, 2026, and replaced with alternative designs.

Krafton’s announcement highlights that the crossover also adds new airdrops, enemy encounters, and mission areas across locations such as Castor Woods, where players race to secure supplies before rival factions.

This collaboration marks one of Techland’s most ambitious partnerships yet, continuing the studio’s tradition of creative crossovers seen in past collaborations with Left 4 Dead and Balatro. The event celebrates both franchises’ shared themes of survival and competition, giving players a unique fusion of Dying Light’s visceral combat and PUBG’s tactical gameplay.

Gamers can now activate the crossover and participate in the Halloween challenges until November 21, 2025, before the limited-time rewards vanish from the game.
