The PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2025, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, has reached its final and most anticipated stage — the Grand Finals.

As part of the Esports World Cup 2025, the tournament brought together the world’s best PUBG Mobile teams to compete for a total prize pool of $3 million, which amounts to approximately ₹25.5 crore.

The event is taking place at the Qiddiya Esports Arena, also known as BR Arena, in Boulevard City. Organised by Level Infinite and Krafton in collaboration with the Esports World Cup Foundation, the competition has been running since July 25 and will conclude with the finals from August 1 to 3. The tournament was structured in three stages: the Group Stage, the Survival Stage, and the Grand Finals.

According to reports after intense matches in the first two phases, sixteen teams have secured their spots in the Grand Finals. The top eight teams from the Group Stage — including Alter Ego Ares from Indonesia, 4Thrives Esports from Pakistan, and Weibo Gaming from China — advanced directly. The remaining eight finalists came through the Survival Stage, held on July 29 and 30, and include teams such as Fire Flux Esports, Regnum Carya Esports, and Nongshim RedForce.

India was represented by Team AxTMG, who qualified after winning the BGMI Pro Series 2025. However, their PMWC journey ended in the Survival Stage. Despite qualifying for the Group Stage, they placed 15th overall and were unable to progress further.

Accoprding to reports the Grand Finals will be played over three days with six matches scheduled per day, totalling 18 matches.

With the final stage underway, PMWC 2025 promises high-stakes competition, surprise performances, and moments that will shape the future of PUBG Mobile esports.
