Abu Dhabi: Dubai Police have showcased cutting-edge vehicles and equipment designed to speed up rescue operations in disaster zones at the World Crisis and Emergency Management Summit (WCEMS).

The display featured innovative technologies such as the rescue radar and life detectors, aimed at enhancing rescue efforts. The rescue radar is engineered for fast deployment by search & rescue teams globally, enabling them to swiftly locate survivors trapped beneath rubble or the surface.

Meanwhile, the pavilion also included 360-degree search cameras, life detectors, fire-fighting and rescue equipment integrated into the Can-Am ATV rescue vehicles, and rescue drones.

One of the key features of these tools is their portability, allowing them to be easily deployed in disaster zones. These technologies have already proven highly effective in natural disasters such as landslides and earthquakes, helping to carry out more efficient and successful rescue operations.

The World Crisis and Emergency Management Summit (WCEMS) 2025, along with its accompanying exhibition, took place from April 8 to 9 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The summit focused on enhancing international collaboration in crisis management and showcasing innovative solutions to tackle the escalating global challenges.
