In a significant step to expand its market presence, BSNL is now introducing some of the most affordable mobile plans in the country. Previously hindered by slower internet services, the company is now rapidly rolling out its 4G network, positioning itself as a strong competitor in the mobile market.
Unlike many private telecom companies that bundle data, calls, SMS, and validity in a single recharge plan, BSNL offers flexible options.
Users can choose specific plans based on their actual needs. This is especially helpful for people who don’t require unlimited calls or large amounts of data but just need to keep their SIM card active.
For those who live abroad or don’t use their mobile on a regular basis but want to keep their number, BSNL's 'validity plans' are a great option. These plans allow users to keep their SIM card active without spending too much money.
BSNL Rs 897 plan
BSNL’s Rs 897 plan is designed for users looking for long validity at a low cost. This plan provides 180 days (6 months) of SIM card validity and comes with several added benefits:
- 90GB high-speed data (post the limit, users get unlimited data at 40 kbps).
- Unlimited voice calls
- 100 free SMS per day
At just Rs 149 per month, this plan is perfect for those who need a balance of data and voice calling without overpaying.
BSNL Rs 797 Plan
For users who need longer validity, BSNL’s Rs 797 plan offers 300 days (10 months) of SIM validity. It also includes:
- 2GB data per day
- Unlimited voice calls
- 100 SMS per day
However, SMS and voice call benefits are only available for the first two months of the plan’s duration. After that, the plan continues with only the validity.
BSNL’s flexible and affordable plans make it a great choice for people who don’t want to pay for services they won’t use.
