Google has unveiled its Pixel 11 lineup, bringing a major focus on artificial intelligence, camera upgrades and durability across its latest smartphones.

The lineup includes the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold, all powered by Google's new Tensor G6 chipset. The phones also feature IP68-rated protection, enhanced Gemini AI capabilities and upgraded telephoto cameras.

The biggest headline, however, may be the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, which Google says has its thinnest bezels yet and is three times more durable than the previous-generation Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

Pixel 11 gets bigger storage, higher price

The standard Pixel 11 starts at $899, $100 more than the Pixel 10. However, the entry-level model now comes with 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM, compared with 128GB of storage on the Pixel 10.

Google says the phone can deliver more than 30 hours of battery life and supports wireless charging that is 25% faster than its predecessor.

The Pixel 11 gets a redesigned camera bump that is more than 40% thinner than the Pixel 10's. Its camera setup includes a 48MP wide camera, 13MP ultrawide camera and 10.8MP 5x telephoto camera. The telephoto lens supports up to 30x Super Zoom.

The phone will be available from Aug. 20.

Pixel 11 Pro gets 120x zoom

The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL bring a new feature called HiLight to the camera bar. The LED indicator can signal Gemini interactions and calls from favourite contacts, with Google planning to add more notification functions.

The Pixel 11 Pro features a display capable of reaching 3,600 nits of peak brightness. Its camera system includes a 50MP wide camera, 48MP ultrawide and 48MP telephoto lens with up to 120x Pro Zoom, alongside a 42MP selfie camera.

The Pixel 11 Pro starts at $1,099, while the Pixel 11 Pro XL starts at $1,299. Both base models come with 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM. Higher-capacity 512GB and 1TB versions get 16GB of RAM.

Pixel 11 Pro Fold starts at $1,899

Google's foldable flagship starts at $1,899, another $100 increase over the previous generation. The base model offers 256GB of storage and 16GB of RAM.

Google claims the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is three times more durable than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and features IP68 water and dust resistance. Its back material is described by Google as being "designed to be nearly impossible to crack."

The foldable's displays are 20% brighter than last year's model, with the inner screen reaching 3,600 nits. It is powered by Tensor G6 and offers up to 24 hours of battery life.

Its camera setup includes a 48MP wide lens, 10.5MP ultrawide and 10.8MP telephoto lens with up to 30x Super Zoom.

The Pixel 11 series will be available in new colour options across the lineup, including frost, hibiscus pink, pistachio green, obsidian, canyon, fog and olive.
