Aanya and Rivaa, as old as Vaibhav Suryavanshi himself, had the greatest joy ever on the special day

At just 14, Vaibhav Suryavanshi isn’t just scoring runs — he’s winning hearts miles away from home. After setting the IPL 2025 ablaze with the Rajasthan Royals, the hard-hitting prodigy is now lighting up England with the Indian U19 team.
Suryavanshi’s explosive form was on full display as he powered the India U19 side to victory in a 5-match ODI series against England U19, including a blistering 143 in the 4th Youth ODI. His century came off just 52 balls, making it the fastest-ever in this format and sending social media into meltdown.
However, the fandom wasn’t just digital. Two teenage superfans, Aanya and Rivaa — both the same age as Vaibhav — drove six hours to Worcester just for a selfie with their idol, proudly sporting Rajasthan Royals’ pink jerseys. Even the Royals’ official X (Twitter) handle couldn’t help but gush:
“Proof why we have the best fans. Drove for 6 hours to Worcester. Wore their Pink. Cheered for Vaibhav & Team India. Aanya and Rivaa, as old as Vaibhav himself, had a day to remember.” In a video shared by the BCCI, Vaibhav credited his inspiration to none other than India skipper Shubman Gill.
“I watched his game closely. Even after scoring 100 or 200, he kept going for the team,” said Vaibhav. “I thought I could’ve played longer too — there were still 20 overs left. One shot I didn’t give 100%, and that’s why I got out. Next time, I’ll try to bat even longer like him.”
With a bat that talks and fans willing to travel hours for a glimpse, Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s teenage tale is only just getting started!
