Pantheerankavu: Kozhikode native Abhiram won two gold medals at the 22nd National Junior Wushu Championship held in Patna. The boy secured a silver medal at the International Junior Wushu Championship held in Russia last year.

Gold medal at the National Budokan Karate Championship 2022 and two silver medals at the National Qwan Ki Do Championship 2022 are among the other notable achievements of Abhiram. 

The young martial arts star from Pantheerankavu is being trained by International Wushu A Grade Judges Dr CP Arif and PK Ayoob. Abhiram who started training when he was 10 years old is studying in standard 11 at Medical College Campus Higher Secondary School. Abhiram is the son of Kozhikode natives Ranjith and Suchithra. He has a sister named Megha.
