Charles de Ketelaere has got both their goals. He tapped in to open the scoring early in the piece, before USA equalised when Malik Tillman’s free-kick deflected in off Hans Vanaken. They were not level for long, though, with De Ketelaere rising high to head home just 61 seconds after Tillman’s strike.

Belgium restore their lead almost immediately. A pinpoint cross from the left finds Charles De Ketelaere, who rises highest to power a header past the goalkeeper and make it 2-1. It's a brace for the Belgian forward after another well-worked attacking move.

Malik Tillman's direct free-kick takes a crucial deflection off the Belgian wall, wrong-footing the goalkeeper before finding the back of the net. The USA are back on level terms, with Tillman scoring in back-to-back FIFA World Cup matches.

Belgium remain in complete control, continuing to trouble the USA defence with their quick passing and movement. Trossard combines well with goalscorer Charles De Ketelaere and Tielemans on the right before finding space inside the box, but the goalkeeper saves his effort. USA looks shaky in the defense. 

A brilliant team move from Belgium. Dodi Lukebakio sparks the attack with a quick switch to Leandro Trossard, whose initial cross is blocked. Trossard wins the ball back immediately before Nicolas Raskin bursts through the USA defence and delivers a low cross into the six-yard box, where Charles De Ketelaere has the easiest of tap-ins to open the scoring.

Both sides are looking to control possession while staying alert on the counterattack. It's a cautious start, with neither team willing to overcommit early on.
