The match marked Tottenham coach Thomas Frank’s second Premier League defeat since taking charge in the summer.

London: Emi Buendia produced a moment of magic to inspire Aston Villa to a 2-1 comeback victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday.
Buendia’s superb curling effort in the 77th minute completed Villa’s turnaround at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, extending their winning streak to five games across all competitions after a poor start to the season.
The Argentine midfielder shimmied across the edge of the box before unleashing a perfectly placed low shot into the bottom corner, sealing the win and continuing Villa’s revival under manager Unai Emery.
The result denied Spurs a chance to move provisionally up to second in the league table and brought an end to their seven-game unbeaten run.
Tottenham had taken the lead early when Rodrigo Bentancur struck in the fifth minute, but Morgan Rogers equalised for Villa in the 37th minute to set up a thrilling second half.
With Buendia’s winner, Villa have now climbed back into contention after failing to win any of their first six matches of the campaign.
It also marked Tottenham coach Thomas Frank’s second Premier League defeat since taking charge in the summer.
