Dubai: Despite India's 2-1 ODI series victory over England, vice-captain Smriti Mandhana has seen a slight dip in the latest ICC Women’s ODI batters rankings, falling one place to No. 2.

England skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt has reclaimed the coveted No. 1 spot among ODI batters, courtesy of her superb performance in the series, particularly a dominant 98 off 105 balls in the final match. Her impressive tally of 160 runs across the series proved decisive in her ascent to the top, even though England ultimately lost the series decider.

For India, while Mandhana slipped a spot after briefly holding the top position despite scoring 115 runs in the series, there was positive movement for captain Harmanpreet Kaur. Kaur surged 10 places to 11th in the batting charts, a reward for her composed contributions in the middle order. Jemimah Rodrigues also inched up two spots to 13th, reflecting a strong collective showing from India's core batting group during the England tour.

In the bowling rankings, England's Sophie Ecclestone maintained her pole position, followed by Australia’s Ashleigh Gardner.

The latest update also highlighted the phenomenal all-around performance of Ireland's 22-year-old Orla Prendergast. In her series against Zimbabwe, Prendergast's unbeaten 67 in the second ODI in Belfast catapulted her 12 places up to joint 22nd in the ODI batting charts. She further rose 10 places to 33rd among bowlers after a tight spell in the same game. Prendergast's exceptional all-round excellence saw her break into the top 10 among ODI all-rounders for the first time, now ranked No. 10.

Other notable gains for Ireland included Arlene Kelly climbing four spots to equal 30th among bowlers, while Gaby Lewis, the team’s T20I captain, jumped four places to 14th among T20I batters after scoring two half-centuries against Zimbabwe.
