New Delhi: Reports suggest that Rahul Dravid is contemplating a comeback to the IPL. Following his resignation as the head coach of the Indian cricket team, several IPL teams have reportedly approached Dravid with coaching offers. Among the prominent contenders in discussions is the Kolkata Knight Riders, who have a vacancy after the appointment of Gautam Gambhir as the Indian head coach.
Meanwhile, there's also positive news for Sanju and his teammates at the Rajasthan Royals. According to a report from TOI, Dravid is considering a return to his former IPL franchise. However, no confirmation has been made yet. Currently, Sri Lankan cricket legend Kumar Sangakkara holds the dual roles of head coach and director at the Rajasthan Royals.
Notably, Rahul Dravid has previous experience serving as both captain and coach of the Royals. Under his leadership, the team reached the Champions League T20 final in 2013. Sanju Samson, who rose to prominence during Dravid's tenure, has a strong fan base eagerly anticipating Dravid's potential return to the Rajasthan Royals.
