He also noted that the place in Kerala existed long before Mahendra Singh Dhoni was born

Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag came up with a unique birthday greeting for former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, drawing a parallel between Dhoni and the famous Dhoni Waterfalls in Kerala's Palakkad district. Dhoni celebrated his birthday on July 7.
"In Palakkad, Kerala, deep inside a forest, there is a waterfall called Dhoni. Calm on the surface, but with untamed power within. Happy Birthday, MS Dhoni," Sehwag wrote on Facebook. The post quickly went viral, garnering nearly 50,000 likes within a short time.
Elaborating on the comparison, Sehwag wrote that reaching Dhoni Waterfalls is not easy. The Kerala Forest Department has regulations in place, and visitors have to trek for about three hours through a challenging route to reach it.
"At the top, it appears completely calm. But inside, it carries a fiery, unstoppable force. Its surface is smooth, yet only when you get close do you realise how powerful it truly is.
"The water looks peaceful, but it isn't. I don't know whether the Forest Department made those rules to protect the waterfall or for No. 7," he joked, referring to Dhoni's iconic jersey number.
He also noted that the place in Kerala existed long before Mahendra Singh Dhoni was born.
"Nature already knew someone would come one day. He would be like this. After a difficult journey, you would find him in the most unexpected place. And once you meet him, it is impossible to forget him. Happy Birthday, MS Dhoni," Sehwag concluded.
