Kollam: Former sportsperson Omkar Nath passed away in a road accident. The accident happened on the national highway near Punalur on Wednesday midnight.
Omkar Nath was working as a havildar in the Thiruvananthapuram SP camp.
Omkar Nath was travelling on a bike which crashed on a tree. Another person who was riding pillion sustained serious injuries and is admitted to a nearby hospital.
Omkar Nath is a national medalist and former student of MA College.
