Vaikom: In the wake of the incidents of double voter ID cards surfacing in Attingal and Idukki, Leader of Opposition V D Satheesan said the Congress party would take legal action against this. 

“No action was taken regarding the Attingal incident involving persons possessing double voter IDs," he stated. He further alleged that the LDF is tampering with the voters list by including names of its union workers. "The Congress had previously brought this issue to light," he said, adding that they would continue to expose such practices in the upcoming election.

The Congress leader further said that a copy of the list of double voters would be handed over to the presiding officers at each booth.
