Rekha P N, a work experience teacher from Nanminda AUP School, said, "Never expected that my design would be selected for the State Youth Festival inauguration VVIP batch.”

Her paper bouquet was noticed in a workshop for teachers under the General Education department. Later, the participants of the workshop were instructed to create bouquets with 300 flowers for the State Youth Festival's opening ceremony as well, which the work experience teachers completed in just two nights. Rekha who learned about batch design from this seized the chance to share her ideas, and passionately designed the batch, which led to the selection of her design for the State Youth Festival inauguration ceremony. She created the design in coral first, then printed it. To make it even more stunning, she also created the beads and tags.

Most of them showered praises on her, but magician Gopinath Muthukad's was the most thrilling, in her recollection.

She has also played a significant role in promoting the exhibition organized by the AUP School's parents and students.

In order to make handmade products, parents, teachers, and students received training as part of the Unarvu scheme.Through the exhibition, the school aims to provide housewives with a source of revenue for their personal expenses.Even if the money they get doesn't make a significant difference, it has empowered women who are confined to the home, and this effort benefits them. Following the training, they started producing a variety of products, such as cloth bags, dish soap, envelopes, files, and umbrellas.

The school has taken action to empower women and also taken financial responsibility for the costs of production. Village homemakers who are unable to work used to gather at the school after their household chores. They were able to participate in the training sessions and produce a variety of goods for display. Even the students enthusiastically took part and contributed their creative thoughts to the exhibition.
