In a concerning development and endorsement of Indian authorities' repeated assertions, a video has emerged showing hate preacher Zakir Naik being reportedly welcomed by a wanted Lashkar-e-Tayiba (LeT) terrorists Iqbal Hashmi and Harris Dhar during the former's ongoing visit to Pakistan.

Following this revelation, social media users expressed little surprise, noting that both parties share similar ideologies, with one being involved in direct terrorism and the other promoting extremist views.

Zakir Naik has been in Pakistan for the past month. He left India in 2016 and has since been residing in Malaysia. The former Prime Minister of Malaysia granted Naik permanent residency.

Despite moving to Malaysia, Naik continued his activities, organizing large gatherings where he encouraged people to convert to Islam, spread radical ideologies, and incite jihad.

Naik is wanted by the Indian authorities for alleged money laundering and inciting extremism through hate speeches.

The Islamic preacher was granted permanent residency in Malaysia by the previous government led by Mahathir Mohamad.

Naik is on a nearly month-long visit to Pakistan since October 1.
