Seattle: Starbucks is refreshing its in-store dress code with a new, simplified color palette designed to let its iconic green apron stand out more prominently.

Starting May 12, all Starbucks stores across North America will implement the updated dress guidelines as part of the company’s effort to create a more consistent and recognisable brand experience for customers.

The revised dress code will feature solid black tops, crewneck, collared, or button-up styles and bottoms in any shade of khaki, black, or blue denim. By streamlining apparel colors, Starbucks aims to highlight the familiar green apron, a symbol long associated with its partners (employees) and customer service.

Additionally, partners will receive two company-branded t-shirts at no cost, including designs representing partner networks.

The move underscores Starbucks’ focus on employee identity and brand unity while maintaining comfort.
