American content creator IShowSpeed has once again sent the internet into a frenzy, this time by attempting to outrun a cheetah. The wild stunt, which has already amassed over 35 million views in just 24 hours, shows the influencer lining up against the world’s fastest land animal for a high-stakes sprint.

While Speed gave an impressive effort, the sheer physics of the animal kingdom took over. A cheetah can reach top speeds of roughly 70 mph (112 km/h), accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just three seconds. By comparison, the fastest human sprint ever recorded (Usain Bolt) topped out at 27.78 mph. Predictably, the cheetah surged ahead almost instantly, leaving the YouTuber trailing in its wake.

Mixed Reactions and Safety Concerns

The video sparked a massive divide across social media platforms:

The Fans: Many praised the creator's "insane" energy and courage, noting that he appeared to be moving at a significant pace himself.

The Critics: Others pointed to a scratch and a small amount of blood visible on Speed’s arm early in the video, suggesting the predator may have lashed out before the race began.

Wildlife Advocates: A vocal group of viewers criticised the use of the animal for "viral clicks," arguing that parading threatened species for entertainment undermines conservation efforts.
