Tehran: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a direct threat Tuesday against American technology firms operating in the Middle East, calling for the immediate evacuation of employees and residents living near such facilities.

In a statement published by the state-linked Tasnim news agency, the IRGC claimed that United States information and communication technology (ICT) and artificial intelligence (AI) firms are complicit in military operations against Iranian interests.

“Since the main element in designing and tracking terrorist targets are American and ICT and AI companies.. from now on, [these] main institutions will be our legitimate targets,” the military wing stated.

Specific Targets Identified

The IRGC indicated that its list of potential targets includes more than 15 prominent corporations. Among the firms specifically named were aerospace giant Boeing, along with Silicon Valley staples Tesla, Meta, Google, and Apple.

According to the announcement, these entities will be considered valid military targets beginning at 8 p.m. local time tomorrow.

Rising Tensions in the Region

The ultimatum marks a significant escalation in the monthlong conflict, as Tehran seeks to expand its retaliatory scope beyond traditional military assets to include the regional infrastructure of U.S. commercial and tech giants.

Response and Evacuation

While the U.S. State Department has not yet issued a formal rebuttal to this specific list of targets, it previously warned that any attack on American citizens or commercial interests would meet a "crushing" response.

The deadline set by the IRGC coincides with the expiration of President Donald Trump's own ultimatum regarding the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, placing the region on a knife-edge as the Wednesday evening cutoff approaches.
