Unidentified miscreants vandalised and attempted to arson former Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan's Magura house following his appearance alongside Sheikh Hasina.

Magura (Bangladesh): Unidentified individuals attempted to set fire to the Magura home of former Bangladesh cricket team captain and former lawmaker Shakib Al Hasan on Wednesday night, according to local police.
The incident reportedly occurred around 9.00 pm at the cricketer's home in the Keshab Mor district of Magura town.
According to Bangladeshi media, a group of miscreants pelted the residence with bricks, shattered window panes and attempted to ignite a fire on the premises.
Law enforcement officials stated that the identity of the perpetrators remains unknown. Following the attack, additional police personnel were deployed to secure the area around the property.
The attack took place shortly after the former Magura-1 MP participated in the press conference of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The event was organised in New Delhi by the Foreign Correspondents' Club of South Asia earlier on the day.
