Dubai: Two people tragically died from smoke inhalation following a fire at a hotel in Dubai's Naif area, the Dubai Media Office announced on Saturday. The Dubai Civil Defence teams swiftly responded, arriving at the scene within six minutes after receiving initial reports.

The Defence teams immediately began evacuation procedures and firefighting efforts to control the blaze and assist those affected. According to statements shared on the Dubai Media Office’s social media channels, the teams acted swiftly to secure the building and ensure the safety of its occupants.

The General Directorate of Civil Defence extended heartfelt condolences to the victims' families, expressing deep sorrow for their loss.

The whereabouts of the victims remain unknown.
