New Delhi: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director K Krithivasan received a total remuneration of Rs 28 crore during the 2025-26 financial year, according to the company’s latest annual report.

The compensation marked a 6.3 percent increase compared to the previous fiscal year.

The annual report also revealed that N Chandrasekaran, Chairman of both the Tata Group and TCS, did not accept any commission from the company during the financial year and only received Rs 4.2 lakh as sitting fees.

“As a policy, N Chandrasekaran, Chairman, has abstained from receiving commission from the company and hence not stated,” the report noted.

Breakdown of Krithivasan’s salary package

According to the company’s disclosures, Krithivasan’s remuneration package included a basic salary of Rs 1.67 crore and benefits, perquisites and allowances amounting to Rs 1.43 crore.

A major portion of the package came through a performance-linked commission of Rs 25 crore.

The annual report for FY26 further stated that the TCS CEO’s remuneration stood at 332.8 times the median salary of employees at the company.

Employee salaries also recorded growth

TCS said the median remuneration of employees rose by 5.1 per cent during the financial year.

The report added that junior and mid-level employees in India received average annual salary hikes ranging from 4.5 per cent to 7 per cent. High-performing employees, meanwhile, were awarded double-digit increments.

TCS posts higher quarterly and annual profit

The IT services major reported a 12.22 percent rise in net profit for the March quarter, with earnings reaching Rs 13,718 crore.

For the full 2025-26 financial year, profit after tax increased by 1.35 per cent to Rs 49,210 crore, compared to Rs 48,553 crore in FY25.

Revenue from operations for the fourth quarter climbed 9.64 per cent to Rs 70,698 crore.

On a full-year basis, TCS reported revenue of Rs 2.67 lakh crore, reflecting a growth of 4.58 percent over the previous fiscal year.
