Thiruvananthapuram: The state-run Kerala Bank has bagged national award instituted by the National Federation of State Cooperative Banks (NAFSCOB) this year too. The cooperative bank has bagged the third straight ( 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22) NAFSCOB award for operational excellence.

The recognition is based on the evaluation of factors like business achievements, democratic administration, resource mobilization and development, delivering banking services to the maximum beneficiaries, better recovery methods, and debt relief among others. 

The award was handed over to the bank authorities at the event held in Jaipur on September 26. 

Meanwhile, Kerala Bank President Gopi Kottamurikkal was selected as NAFSCOB’s permanent administrative body member.
