Forbes released its World's Billionaires List for the year 2024. American business magazine found an unprecedented 2,781 billionaires around the globe for this year’s list with 141 more than in 2023 and 26 more than the previous record, set in 2021.

14 Malayalis made it into the list and their total net worth amounts to around Rs 3.35 lakh crore or $47.8 B. Here are the Malayalis in Forbes World's Billionaires List 2024:

  7. T.S. Kalyanaraman $3.2 B(Rs 26, 560 Cr)
  8. P.N.C. Menon $2.8 B (Rs 23,240 Cr)

Interestingly, Byju Raveendran, Malayali and the founder of controversy-bound edutech start-up Byju's, was out from the list. He debuted on Forbes' World Billionaires list in 2020.

Meanwhile, Bernard Arnault & family of France topped the global list. The fashion luxury brand entity has a net worth of $233 B.  Elon Musk ($195 B), Jeff Bezos ($194 B), and Mark Zuckerberg ($177 B) are the others in the top positions. While among Indians, Mukesh Ambani topped the list with a net worth of $116 B.
