The new flight (6E 765) will leave Delhi at 9:40 am and land in Itanagar at 12:20 pm.

Itanagar: IndiGo Airlines will introduce a second daily non-stop flight between Delhi and Itanagar from September 17, 2025, in response to rising passenger demand, officials from Arunachal Pradesh’s Civil Aviation Department announced on Wednesday.
Currently, IndiGo operates a single direct service on the busy route. The new flight (6E 765) will leave Delhi at 9:40 am and land in Itanagar at 12:20 pm. The return flight (6E 766) will depart Itanagar at 12:50 pm and reach Delhi by 3:45 pm.
Officials said the additional service will significantly improve connectivity to Arunachal Pradesh, making travel to the frontier state easier for tourists, traders, and local residents.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu welcomed the move, calling it a boost for both tourism and the state’s economy. “Delighted to share that IndiGo Airlines is introducing additional daily, non-stop flights between Delhi and Itanagar, starting 17th September 2025. This new connection will further boost tourism, trade, and connectivity for Arunachal Pradesh,” he posted on social media.
Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein also lauded the decision. “Air connectivity in Arunachal Pradesh is set to strengthen further with IndiGo launching additional daily non-stop flights. This will boost tourism, facilitate trade, and create new opportunities for our people while bringing our state closer to the rest of the country,” he wrote.
The new flight is expected to make Arunachal Pradesh more accessible to the rest of India, strengthening its link with the national capital and beyond.
