Top Indian IT firms including TCS, Infosys, HCL Tech, Wipro and Tech Mahindra are set to declare Q3 results amid tighter H-1B visa approvals and growing focus on AI-led growth and hiring trends.

New Delhi: Investor attention in the coming week is expected to shift to third-quarter (Q3) earnings from India Inc, with heavyweight IT companies set to dominate the spotlight and influence broader market trends, analysts said on Saturday.
HCL Tech, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and Wipro, together representing nearly 13 per cent of the Nifty 50 index, are scheduled to report results, making their financial performance and management commentary critical for overall market sentiment.
“Investor focus will be firmly on post-results management commentary and forward guidance. Key areas to watch will include trends in client IT budgets for the current year, signs of recovery in discretionary spending across industries, and hiring plans — especially in the context of tighter H-1B visa approvals,” said Ponmudi R, CEO of SEBI-registered trading and wealth-tech firm Enrich Money.
Analysts also expect updates on progress in AI-driven technologies and infrastructure, increasingly seen as the next growth engine for India’s IT sector.
Reliance Industries Ltd will also be a key market trigger next week due to its significant weight in indices. Investors are likely to focus on performance trends across energy, retail and telecom businesses, as well as management guidance on demand, margins and capital expenditure, which could influence broader market sentiment.
According to a Systematix note, large-cap IT companies are expected to post sequential USD revenue growth of 0–2 per cent, affected by seasonal furloughs and fewer working days. The report added that demand conditions remain largely unchanged, with subdued discretionary spending, cautious client sentiment amid macroeconomic uncertainty, and ongoing AI-led technology transitions. Tier-1 IT firms are likely to report on-quarter USD revenue growth of 0.2–2.1 per cent.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is set to announce its Q3 results on Monday, while Infosys, a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, will declare its third-quarter earnings on Wednesday.
