As of Sunday, November 2, 2025, petrol and diesel prices across major metro cities and state capitals in India remain stable, according to GoodReturns. No revision has been recorded in petrol or diesel prices compared with the previous day.
Fuel prices in India are influenced by global crude oil rates, domestic taxation structures, and currency exchange trends. Despite frequent movements in international crude oil prices, retail fuel prices across India have stayed largely stable. The consistency is attributed to the government’s pricing policies and the significant share of central and state taxes in overall fuel costs.

As of November 2025, the price of a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder in Mumbai stands at ₹852.50, with no change compared with the previous month. LPG prices in India have remained stable since April 2025, following a ₹50 hike introduced earlier this year.
Over the past 12 months, domestic LPG rates across India have shown a steady upward movement, increasing by ₹50 between November 2024 and October 2025. The most significant price revision occurred in April 2025, marking the last major adjustment in India’s household gas cylinder prices.
India’s LPG price trends are shaped by global crude oil rates, international energy costs, and domestic subsidy policies. Despite global fluctuations, LPG cylinder prices in India have remained steady for several months, offering relief to households amid rising living costs.
