
Internship with Rs 5000 monthly allowance announced for 1 crore youth
In order to provide on-job training to youth, the government will launch an internship scheme to provide opportunities to one crore youth in top 500 companies over the next five years.
For the interns to get exposure to real life environment an internship allowance will be provided of Rs 5000 per month.
Companies facilitating the internship, she said, will bear training and 10 per cent of training cost from their respective Corporate Social Responsibilty funds.

To enhance the supply chain of vegetables, the budget proposes the development of large-scale clusters for vegetable production near major consumption centres.
A three-year plan is announced to facilitate the digital public infrastructure for agriculture, aiming to cover farmers and their lands comprehensively.
A digital crop survey for Kharif crops will be conducted in 400 districts this year, integrating the details of six crore farmers and their lands into farmer and land registries.

Budget proposes interest subsidy scheme to facilitate loans for urban housing segment
- The government proposed a central assistance of Rs 2.2 lakh crore for urban housing over the next five years as well as an interest subsidy scheme to facilitate loans at affordable rates for urban housing works.
- The government will put in place measures for an efficient and transparent rental housing market with enhanced availability.
- The minister has also proposed transit-oriented development plans for large cities having a population of over 30 lakh and a scheme to support the development of 100 weekly haats in five years.
- Also, the government will develop digital public infra applications in seven areas, including those related to credit and MSME service delivery.
Changes will be made to IBC to strengthen tribunals
- Appropriate changes will be made to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) and steps will be taken to strengthen tribunals in the country.
- Integrated technology platform was also proposed for improving outcomes under the Code, besides additional debt recovery tribunals to be set up in the country.
