Gold price today: 24K, 22K and 18K rates
| Gold purity | Price per gram | Change |
| 24K gold | ₹15,284 | ↓ ₹60 |
| 22K gold | ₹14,010 | ↓ ₹55 |
| 18K gold | ₹11,463 | ↓ ₹45 |
The latest movement follows a recent decline in domestic gold prices. On Tuesday, gold in the national capital fell by ₹1,000 to ₹1,54,400 per 10 grams, its lowest level in more than a month.
At the time, market analysts cited weak global trends and a stronger US dollar among the factors weighing on gold. Rising Treasury yields and higher crude oil prices were also adding pressure to the precious metal.
The previous decline came as elevated oil prices raised inflation concerns and strengthened expectations of a US Federal Reserve rate hike. Gold, which does not generate interest income, can come under pressure when yields rise and interest-bearing assets become more attractive.
