New Delhi: Fuel prices across India continued to remain largely unchanged on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, extending the ongoing phase of stability as the year approaches its end. Even as global crude oil prices recorded marginal movements, domestic Oil Marketing Companies chose to keep retail fuel rates steady across most cities, as per a report by GoodReturns.
Petrol price today in India
Petrol prices showed no visible revision across key metropolitan centres on Wednesday. Oil Marketing Companies announced no changes during the daily rate update issued at 6 am, keeping prices consistent with previous levels in major states and Union Territories.

LPG price update: Domestic
While petrol and diesel prices are revised daily, LPG rates are usually reviewed on the first day of every month. As of December 31, domestic LPG cylinder prices remain unchanged. Commercial LPG cylinder prices had seen small reductions in select regions earlier this month. The price of a domestic 14.2 kg LPG cylinder currently stands at ₹852.50.
