Starting November 1, 2025, state-run oil companies have reduced commercial LPG cylinder prices by ₹5, providing relief to the hospitality and food sectors.

Kozhikode: Businesses in the hospitality and food service sectors received some respite as state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) reduced the prices of commercial LPG cylinders effective Saturday, November 1, 2025.
According to the latest revision, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has been cut by ₹5, bringing the new rate down to ₹1,590.50 from ₹1,595.50, as per data available on the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) website.
The new prices, effective from today, vary across metro cities. A 19-kg commercial cylinder will now cost ₹1,694 in Kolkata, ₹1,542 in Mumbai, and ₹1,750 in Chennai.
While the cut offers much-needed relief to businesses such as restaurants, hotels, bakeries, and catering services that rely heavily on LPG, the prices of domestic LPG cylinders remain unchanged.
This revision follows a ₹15.50 hike in September, which had added pressure on small and medium-scale enterprises in the food and beverage industry. The latest move is expected to ease operating costs slightly for commercial users ahead of the festive and wedding season.
In Delhi, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder is now ₹1,590.50.
In Kolkata, the new rate stands at ₹1,694, while in Mumbai it is ₹1,542.
Chennai records the highest price among the metros, with a 19-kg cylinder costing ₹1,750.
