Parassala: In a tragic incident, a couple was found dead in their home in Cheruvarakonam, identified as Priya (37) and her husband Selvaraj (45), owners of the YouTube channel 'Sellu family'. Their son found the bodies after returning home late on Saturday night.
The couple’s son, a home nursing trainee in Ernakulam, had spoken to them on the phone on Friday night. After failing to reach them since Saturday morning, he decided to visit their home. Upon arrival, he found the front gate locked from the inside but noticed the front door slightly open.

After entering the house, he found his mother dead on the bed, while Selvaraj was found hanging in the same room.
Priya, who was active on YouTube, had posted a video on Friday night, featuring a compilation of their photos and set to a song about farewell. She had been live-streaming on YouTube regularly, with her last appearance on Thursday, during which she appeared very happy.
Local residents have expressed concerns about the mysterious circumstances surrounding the sudden deaths of both Priya and her husband, suggesting that there may be more to the events leading to their apparent suicide.
